Allow me to introduce another Smith and Co couple, Luke and Bailey.
Luke and Bailey have known "of" each other for years, but it wasn't until about a year ago that they actually met and started dating.
Years ago one of Luke's friends had liked Bailey's sister, however, Luke sort of liked her too. Not long after that, Luke found out that she had a younger sister. At the time he thought she was a little too young for him, but thought maybe someday in the future he might like to go out with her.
Fast forward to 2017... Bailey and her friends were at Walmart when they ran into Luke. She knew all about Luke McLain and couldn't believe it when he winked at her!! She had caught his attention but he didn't make any moves towards asking her out so later she "liked" an old picture on Instagram and sent him a Snapchat. She was shocked when he responded to her.
They started dating, and it didn't take long for them both to know that they were ready to spend the rest of their lives together.
Luke surprised Bailey with his proposal after a wedding that he was in near Chattanooga. They had gone downtown and were walking by the riverside. Bailey was cold so Luke had given her his jacket. They laugh about how once she realized that he was proposing and that her friends were nearby taking pictures she just threw his jacket onto the ground because she didn't want it in the pictures! Lol!!
It never crossed our minds that we had schedule their engagement shoot on St. Patrick's day in downtown Huntsville. When we arrived there was a parade and most of the streets were blocked off. After driving around for what seemed like forever we finally found a way around the road blocks and traffic. Despite all the people, we were still able to get some really great pictures.
Congrats Luke and Bailey!! I'm excited about capturing your "Best Day Ever!"
