Allow me to introduce to you another Smith & Co. couple!!
Caleb & Hannah are such a sweet couple. They began dating about three and a half years ago, although Hannah told me she actually had a crush on him for 2 years before he ever asked her out. She said the first time she remembers Caleb is when he and his brother came to her house to hang out with her brother. That was when she first started liking him.
On a cool December day after Caleb had already asked Hannah's dad for her hand in marriage the couple planned to spend a day in Huntsville and celebrate Caleb's birthday at his favorite restaurant, P. F. Chang's. On the way there Caleb pulled out his laptop. He had made a sweet video montage of different pictures from them dating. In the video he had a song that they plan on using in their wedding (so sweet)!! At the end of the video was a picture that said, "I love you". Hannah was expecting Caleb to propose then.....he didn't. They went to eat and afterwards they'd planned on going Ice Skating at a seasonal Ice Rink in Big Spring's Park. When they arrived, there were so many people. Hannah was hoping he wouldn't propose there with such a large crowd on a small rink (later she found out that wasn't what he had planned at all). So instead they took a walk in the park to see all the Christmas trees decorated by local businesses. As they were walking across a bridge Caleb got down on one knee and asked her to marry him in a sweet proposal.
It was nearing the day of their engagement session and like so many sessions before, rain was in the forecast. Hannah and I had a back and forth discussion about moving the date but decided to just go ahead with the date we'd set. When the morning of the shoot came it looked like rain was inevitable. I headed to the location we'd chosen, but Hannah was running late because her hair appointment had taken longer than expected. When I arrived at the location, a little before the session was to begin, it was pouring rain......Hannah's mother texted me, worried about the weather, and I just told her to pray! When Hannah, Caleb & her mother arrived the rain was finally moving out. By the time we were ready to take the pictures the rain was completely gone!!!
Hannah told me when we booked their session that she really wanted boat pictures. Luckily, I knew just the spot!!
The Bradford Pear trees were in full bloom and it made for such beautiful pictures!!
The couple is set to tie the knot early this summer!!
Congratulations Caleb & Hannah!!! So glad to have you as a S&C couple!!
