Christmas with.......S&C & Family.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger.
— Luke 2:11-14 KJV

Christmas 2017 was wonderful!! We had a wonderful time with our friends, family & church family! I wanted to share some of our great moments with y'all!!!

I love Christmas time!!!  I usually put my Christmas decor up way too early because I love it so much......are any of y'all like me?

I love getting to pass on Christmas traditions from year to year, sharing them with my girls, even making new ones......

But my favorite tradition is celebrating what this season is really about, the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We had lots of time with our family, eating WAY too much, playing games, and singing. We are so thankful for every minute of it!!!

Here are a few images from this holiday season.....

Christmas at my mom's.....her decor looked so great!! She had a table set for all 23 members of our immediate family.....it was so wonderful to get to sit together and enjoy a wonderful dinner!

We played $5 Dirty Santa and this is what these 3 ended up with!!! They were excited!!!     We used to play Dirty Santa at my mom's and spend $25-$30 each, but then we stopped. This year my mom wanted to do it again, but just wanted to have fun with it and not make it hard for anyone. So she decided to set the limit at $5.  We had more fun with the $5 gifts than with the more expensive ones! The biggest hit was a jar of pennies!! It also had a $5 bill in it. We also had packs of Hot Chocolate, toilet paper rolls with money taped inside, and so may other great things!   It was fun just getting creative with ways to do give a $5 gift!! It's not always about how much you spend. It's more about just enjoying laughing and being with each other!!!
